Hi everyone,

As mentioned at last week's Mead & Meaning, Ryan and I are excited to propose our first in-person gathering for Disciples of the Divine Logos! We are looking at Saturday 6th September, and would really value your thoughts as we move forward.

We’re proposing to meet in Whitby—a place we have touched on in our discussions. It's rich with symbolism and story: the legacy of St Hilda drawing in so many British saints, the spiritual battle with the snakes, the monastic past, and even the shadow of Dracula, all coexisting in this remarkable coastal town. It also happens to be a beautiful and well-loved destination, recently listed in Lonely Planet’s top 10 places to visit in the UK, with good accommodation and food options.

For those without a car, it’s very accessible by train from York or Middlesbrough.

As for the Herod story, I find so much about his life to be interesting and tragic.

Also, have any of you seen the Vinland Saga? I'd never heard of it, but recently came across it. My prayers for an encouraging meeting today! I'll still be at work over here in the States, but will be thinking of all my fellow disciples of the Divine Logos!

Dear fellow disciples, I was blessed with such a gift here in Florida where I got to meet both Jordan Peterson and Jonathan Pageau at a talk the former was hosting on his latest tour.

With Dr. Peterson, I managed only a brief "Hi" as so many people were clamoring for his attention, but with Mr. Pageau there was a bit more time to chat. I told him about our group, and our Meade and Meaning discussions, as well as the videos Ryan and Oliver make (all to which he said, "Oh, that's great!" with a big smile).

I also reminded him of his chat with you, Oliver, and we discussed your short film!

This happening on what for us was the eve and for you all, already is Saint Cuthbert's Day is truly what Carl Jung would call a Synchronicity, and what I can only call a big blessing.
