Ryan Seeley

Ryan Seeley is a traditional English family man, who lives on the edge of Sherwood forest in Nottinghamshire with his wife and two children. Ryan grew up in a secular household, holding no religious beliefs, which later contributed to an existential crisis that he experienced in his 20s. This event set in motion a journey to seek out meaning in the world, which led Ryan to explore a plethora of spiritual practices and philosophical ideas. While each of these spiritual and philosophical pursuits offered the odd nugget of value here and there, he found them lacking an ultimate and sustaining form of meaning, until he finally discovered the Logos, Jesus Christ.

Ryan is fascinated by pattern and story, and how our treasured fairy tales and myths might contain the key to bridging the gap between the religious and secular world views that now seem so opposed to one another. Through the Disciples of the Divine Logos, Ryan hopes to help spark a great re-enchantment that might restore a truly magical world once more.
