DDL York & Whitby Pilgrimage 2026

In March 2026 we will set out together on a pilgrimage from the heart of Christian Britain to the windswept coast of what was Northumbria in the time of Saints Hilda and Cuthbert. This is an open invitation to anyone who feels the pull of the ancient path, the whisper of the saints, and the enchantment of our spiritual past.

📍 Saturday 7 March — The Gathering

We will meet at 10:30am outside the mighty York Minster, that great crown of English Gothic and beacon of the high Middle Ages. After taking in its soaring lines and carved saints, we will begin our own descent backwards through time. York is our meeting point - we won't have time to go inside the cathedral together. It opens to the public at 9am, so there is time for you to go inside alone beforehand.
